There were many adventures and stories on the way. However, we don’t have time to write and will tell you later. Basically, traveling in Malaysia is very cost effective. Like riding a boat watching the fireflies at night, it only costs $3 per person. The seafood is fantastic and cheap.

Next morning we went for an island hopping trip. It only costed US$11 per person. First stop is a big island with a fresh water lake. It was quite refreshing to dip into it. Second stop is to see eagle flying near an island. Watch video: Langkawi Flying Eagles
Langkawi means reddish brown eagle in colloquial Malay. Lastly, we went to a small beach on a small island. The water is very clean and blue. It is very beautiful. We swam there.

In afternoon, we went to ride on Langkawi cable car. It takes visitors up to the peak of the mountain where the Langkawi Sky Bridge is located. The journey covers a total distance of 2.2 km linking the Base Station to the overruling height of the Top Station, at an incline of 42 degrees.
The sky bridge hangs at about 100m above the ground, swinging out over the landscape to give visitors a unique spatial experience. Measuring 125m in length, the structure ranks among the world’s longest curved suspension bridge.

My after-thought poem for this trip:
[寒風暴雨] by wee-yong
天冷地凍離家去,
海風椰影到南洋,
返回灣區心無奈,
寒風暴雨春遲來。
祈望今年雨水足,
尋求偏地野花開。
A friend suggested to go to Death Valley (偏地) to see 野花. Next time I need 99天走透透 to avoid the cold in Bay Area.
